THIS WEEKEND AVAILABLE FOR ALL WHĀNAU
Over Term 2 and Term 3 our school was fortunate enough to have the Creatives in Schools Programme as part of our school and students were able to enjoy an amazing amount of toi in our kura. We had one more wānanga scheduled for late September with artists Tia Reihana (NgātiHine) and Piripi Morunga (Ngāpuhi). We have great news that, amidst another week of level 4 lockdown, they have offered our kura an opportunity to learn more about kawakawa balm making via a STRICTLY FOR SCHOOL ONLY zoom wānanga , this week on Saturday 18th September 10am – 1pm.
This online wānanga will offer whānau an opportunity to learn about the kawakawa plant and its value for fostering Hauora/ whānau wellbeing. It will be delivered via a 3 hour zoom.
