The Newton Raffle is back! Ticket books will be coming home with children next week and there are some great incentives to get selling.
The last raffle contributed $14,000 towards the school’s fundraising efforts. With $5,000 worth of prizes this year, we’re hopeful of another great result.
Six prize packages are up for grabs including: the Designer Home Pack valued at $2,000; the Makeover Package valued at $950; Kid’s Fun Pack valued at $580; The Baker’s Delight valued at $550; Foodies Pack valued at $520; and Dinner with Friends valued at $400. Click here to see the prizes in full.
The children’s efforts will be rewarded with prizes for the top 10 ticket sellers and extra prizes for the number one ticket seller. Plus, a pizza party will be held for the class who sell the highest average number of tickets.
Extra ticket books will be available from the office for keen sellers. Tickets can be sold up to Sunday 20th June, with all sold or unsold books due back to school the following day. The raffle will be drawn at school from 3.30pm, Wednesday 7 July.
Funds raised go towards teaching resources, an equity fund and our new school playground. We’re hugely grateful for the efforts of our Newton community who go the extra mile to support these initiatives.
