The Natioanl Emergency Mangement Agency (NEMA) and the Ministry of Education have closed schools till Tuesday 7th February.
“As a result of the order issued by NEMA and the Ministry of Education, all schools in Auckland will remain closed until Tuesday 7th February while repair to Auckland Infrastructure takes place.”
This means Newton Central School will now start on Tuesday 7th February.
