We are lucky here at Newton to have a variety of beautiful gardens, from tropical to vegetable and everything in between.
This year there are greater opportunities for the children and the community to participate in gardening, such as the Gardening Club and class kaitiaki areas.
We are hoping to grow this further through a Garden-to-Table type programme later in the year.
