COVID ALERT LEVEL 3 Update 17 August

Newton Central School is here and ready to help in any way we can.

We are ready to support essential workers’ children as of 13 August 2020. Here is a guide to help families know whether their child should attend school NCS Alert Level 3 Attendance Eligibility Flowchart

However, we do need you to notify us that you plan for your children to attend, either by email: admin@newton.school.nz or phone: 09 378-6883 (between 8.00am – 3.30pm). For health and safety reasons, do not turn up unannounced.

For everyone’s safety there are guidelines to be followed. These will be shared directly with families that meet the criteria and choose to have their children supervised at school.

Teachers will be contacting their students’ whānau with their suggestions for your child’s online learning plan for the rest of this week.
