Our annual Art Exhibition is almost here!
Thursday August 6th | 5:30pm – 7:30 pm
NEW VENUE!! 550 Karangahape Rd – Cnr K’Rd and Gundry St – the former Torpedo7 building
Get set for a great night with plenty of delicious food, fantastic music from Base FM’s DJ WAM and some great raffles. And, of course, lots of fantastic ART by our tamariki!!
Proceeds from this year’s event are going towards the upgrade of the junior playground.
Individual art work by our tamariki will be available for purchase by koha on the night. You can also pre-purchase individual art at the office prior to the event. The individual pieces are being expertly judged this year by Rebekah Taylor, Natalie Tozer and Gemma Stewart, with prizes and certificates for the winners.
There will also be some awesome classroom collaborative pieces available for purchase through silent auction on the night. More detail to come. Here’s a sneaky peek at just one amazing piece!!!
We have gone big on the food this year – there will be the all important sausages and pizza, amazing pulled pork and jackfruit sliders, the legendary Miso Ra gyoza, yummy drinks and baking galore! Vegan and gluten free options will be available. Remember to bring your own reusable cups.
Base FM’s talented DJ WAM will be doing a live set for us during the event.
We will also have some great raffle prizes up for grabs and a kid’s craft stall to keep everyone occupied.
All purchases at the event will be with tickets or Eftpos. Avoid the queues! Buy your tickets in advance from the office!
Get ready to celebrate our talented tamariki. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
